Endometrial Biopsy Q&A

What should I expect after the procedure?

The most common side effect after a biopsy is cramping. The cramping can be mild to moderate at times. It is rare for cramping pain to become severe. Many patients also report bleeding after the biopsy procedure. Spotting or light bleeding is normal, but you should contact your physician if it becomes heavy, or you are not feeling well.
